Awwww...The Sun Gazing saying is particularly depressing, given the context. If she posted something like this prior to Mr. Mallard's supposed death, I would have to think she was being ironic. I don't have a strong sense that she was aware of her worth (or lack thereof) prior to his supposed death. In the story, it seems like she doesn't have this epiphany about worth until he is supposedly gone.
I liked how you went into her thoughts of planning his arrangements, she was ready to move on, and get him in the ground. Good job Jana. ;-)
